REGARDING ALBUM ART.
Finished making DEGENERATION STREET at the end of summer, right on schedule. So focused on it that none of us had even bothered to think about what it would look like. Moreover, wasn’t counting on the fact that none of us would agree on anything for almost 2 months. Lost sleep.
Driving back from Toronto, it hit. Construction workers pouring out a fresh sidewalk. Remembered this one time writing in cement years and years ago, thinking that what I wrote is probably still there.
Agreed on at least trying it. Literally built it with our bare hands. Photographed. Then destroyed. Then photographed.
