This song has been stuck in my head all day. Auto-earworm. ♥ Natalia
As I continue my search for an errant audio file, I have stumbled upon many artifacts — including this live recording of “We Can Have It” from a show we did in Paris in 2005. I found the mp3 on my Tangerine iBook, which I haven’t turned on in nearly a decade, but that still works perfectly! This was the only mp3 I had in that computer’s iTunes. Enjoy it. ♥ Natalia
FROM a-newer-me:
The Dears - Lights Off
I’ve been trying not to write much when I do an audio post, because despite having a degree in music most people don’t want to hear me talk about music (maybe I talked too much about it while in college?)… So I won’t go on as long as I might like to about this song. A few years ago a friend of a friend introduced me to The Dears, and I enjoyed a whole summer of discovering more great new music by them and some of the other bands I was introduced to. This one slipped through somehow? Anyway, for the past couple years I haven’t been listening to music for pleasure (story for another day), so I kind of forgot about them. I found this song while browsing through some Gossip Girl vids on Youtube, because apparently it was in an episode that I never noticed. Anyway, it got me to dig up some of my old music and I have been listening to all of my music all day long since then.
I’m going to go ahead and say this song helped me like music again, and you should listen to it.

Some wonderfully depressing music is up today. From a band called The Dears, the song is called Pinned Together, Falling Apart. The album No Cities Left from The Dears is beautifully depressing and wonderful. This is without a doubt getting a lot of plays in the office on Blake and 17th. This is a wonderful album and if you do not have it, you should. Enjoy…..
